Before choosing a part

Compatibility essentials

Start with these documented details. Read the requirements with each answer before choosing a needle, bobbin or foot.

Foot attachment

Raise the needle and lock the controls before changing the foot. The ordinary foot releases with the holder’s black button; its pin snaps into the holder notch as the lever is lowered. Use the correct machine-specific foot for the stitch, in the correct direction, and follow the complete procedure. Specified optional feet use the included adapter and small screw instead of this ordinary sequence. This does not identify a standard shank or confirm another foot fits.

Requirements and sources →
Bobbin height

X52800-150, 11.5 mm high. Use the included bobbin or the same type. This does not establish a standardized class, material or cross-brand substitute.

Requirements and sources →
Needle system / designation

Use home sewing machine needles, specified as HA × 130.

Requirements and sources →
Needle sizes by fabric and use

Use 65/9–75/11 for lightweight fabrics, 75/11–90/14 for medium fabrics, 90/14–100/16 for heavyweight fabrics, and ballpoint 75/11–90/14 for stretch fabrics; never use thread weight 20 or lower.

Needle, bobbin & presser-foot details

Read the model-specific requirements with each answer before choosing parts.

Needle

Needle insertion

  • Cover the needle-plate hole first; an incompletely inserted or loose needle can break or damage the machine.

Raise the needle, lock all keys and buttons, loosen and remove the old needle, then insert the straight replacement fully to the stopper with its flat side facing back and securely tighten the clamp screw before unlocking the controls.

Bobbin

Class system

Not yet verified
  • Not yet verified: The reviewed exact manual page does not name a standardized bobbin class.

Presser foot

Attachment mount mechanism

  • The ordinary pin-and-notch sequence is not universal: the same manual names the included adapter and small screw for specified optional feet.; Use the correct foot for the selected stitch and install it in the correct direction before sewing.

Raise the needle, lock the controls, raise the foot lever, press the holder's black button to remove the foot, align the replacement foot pin with the holder notch and lower the lever until the pin snaps into the notch, then unlock the controls and raise the presser-foot lever.

Standardized shank class

Not yet verified
  • Not yet verified: The reviewed exact manual pages do not name a standardized or low shank class.

Cleaning

  • Keep the no-oil statement within the component scope stated by the exact manual and follow the illustrated reassembly alignment.

Switch the machine off and unplug it, remove the needle, presser foot, holder, flat-bed attachment, needle-plate cover and bobbin case, then brush or vacuum lint and dust from the race and surrounding area before reinstalling the case in the illustrated alignment.

Care, setup & service references

Use the full source procedure and its safety precautions. A short referenced answer is not a substitute for service documentation or qualified electrical/mechanical repair.

Service-manual availability and service-only procedures remain unestablished unless separately cataloged and reviewed.

Coverage and source-review limits

This guide uses model-specific manual instructions for bobbins, needles, presser feet and care, with sewing speed where documented. Read the requirements with each answer. Standard shank classification, broader bobbin substitutions and third-party foot fit have not been confirmed.
