Read the model-specific requirements with each answer before choosing parts.
The OEM overview centers on the 130/705 H household-needle family, with system variants and sizes selected by material and use.
Use the listed needle variant for the material: ball-point variants for jersey/stretch and LL or LR cutting-point variants for leather and plastic film.
Insert the needle fully with the flat side facing the back, then tighten the clamp screw.
Insert the bobbin with its thread running clockwise; after routing the thread through the slot and under the spring, the bobbin must still turn clockwise.
The presser-foot sole clicks onto the machine's presser-foot shaft.
Specifications apply to the named model and document edition. Read any setup, fabric or safety requirements with the answer.
After every use, remove lint from under the stitch plate and in the hook area; clean the hook race with a cloth or brush.
Apply one or two drops of oil to the hook race, then briefly run the machine without thread.
Use the full source procedure and its safety precautions. A short referenced answer is not a substitute for service documentation or qualified electrical/mechanical repair.
Service-manual availability and service-only procedures remain unestablished unless separately cataloged and reviewed.
The original source author’s manual research is reused here; it is not a new manufacturer certification. Standard bobbin class, substitutions, shank and third-party compatibility remain unconfirmed.
An unanswered question does not mean a part is incompatible. We have not confirmed enough information to recommend it.
