Needle, bobbin & presser-foot details
Read the model-specific requirements with each answer before choosing parts.
Needle
Needle insertion
- Raise the needle using the up/down button and lower the presser foot. Turn the power off and disconnect the machine before changing the needle; loosen the clamp screw counterclockwise to remove the old needle.
Insert the needle with its flat side to the rear, push it against the stopper pin and tighten the clamp screw firmly.

System
Not yet verified- Not yet verified: No formal needle-system designation is established by this reviewed procedure.
Bobbin
Winding stop
- Follow the dedicated bobbin-winding setup and button sequence on printed page17.
Bobbin winding stops automatically when the bobbin is fully wound.

Bobbin insertion
- The bobbin should turn counterclockwise when the thread is pulled; otherwise reverse the bobbin and rethread. This is a handling instruction, not a standardized bobbin-system claim.
Place the bobbin with its thread running off counterclockwise. Guide the thread into front notch A, left between the tension-spring blades and into side notch B. Pull about 10 cm (4 inches) to the rear and reattach the cover.

System
Not yet verified- Not yet verified: Class, dimensions, material, part number, hook system and interchangeability are not established by these procedures.
Sole change
- Turn the power off before changing the foot. This describes the illustrated pin/holder procedure, not universal snap-on compatibility.
Raise the needle and presser foot; press the red button behind the holder to release the foot. Put the replacement foot pin under the holder groove and lower the holder to lock it.

Holder change
- Turn the power off before detaching or attaching the holder. No shank dimensions, adapter geometry or unrelated-foot fit is inferred.
Raise the presser bar and turn the thumbscrew counterclockwise to remove the holder. For attachment, loosen the thumbscrew, position the assembly on the presser bar as illustrated and tighten clockwise.

Pattern selection
Use the proper foot for the selected pattern; the manual warns that the wrong foot can cause the needle to break.
Sources and pages
Standardized fit
Not yet verified- Not yet verified: Shank dimensions, general mount geometry, adapters, special-foot and sibling fitment remain unestablished by these procedures.
Specifications & documented facts
Specifications apply to the named model and document edition. Read any setup, fabric or safety requirements with the answer.
No further specifications have been confirmed here. See the compatibility and operating answers above.
Care, setup & service references
Use the full source procedure and its safety precautions. A short referenced answer is not a substitute for service documentation or qualified electrical/mechanical repair.
Service-manual availability and service-only procedures remain unestablished unless separately cataloged and reviewed.
Coverage and source-review limits
Answers use the retained MC6600P instruction manual and its safety requirements. Bobbin system, needle system and general foot compatibility remain unconfirmed. The original PDFs are not hosted here.
